success iceberg

Many of the world’s leading athletes didn’t get to where they are be training alone.

Pushing through plateaus, driving yourself on those all important crucial sets till you cant feel your arms anymore and eating the right foods day in day out overall requires on crucial element…

Above everything, if you don’t have the right framework, attitude and belief in your thoughts, then chances are the success of your goals will be hindered. You may be struggling to see results and looking for external solutions, but did you ever stop to think for a minute that your thought process might be what is limiting you?

A positive mindset is the driving catalyst to rewarding your life, reducing negativity and supercharging your weight lifting to the next level.

These simple steps are a great way to align positivity and start attracting good fortune in your fitness goals and every other area of your life:

1. Visulisation

Put posters up on the wall, look at your favorite bodybuilders and picture what you want to look like. Look at these photos everytime you get up in the morning and the last thing before you go to bed. Go into every workout with a ferocious attitude and your body will be pro-programmed to follow.

Feel everything you want to see in your body and craft a plan of action to get there. Like Arnold Schwarzenegger said, who do you want to be?

2. Craft Your Strategy

Bodybuilding on the whim is a plan that is almost doomed for failure. Going into a training routine without goals and targets is the most common problem for many as advancing your size and strength requires a certain process that on must follow, in and out of the gym.

Humans are creatures who work well with routine, so if you are going into the gym and performing the same workouts each time, drifting from machine to machine then you will struggle..

3. Workout Positivitybelieve in yourself

Each and everytime you step into the gym, you must loud and clear tell yourself, I AM HERE TO DOMINATE and lift bigger and harder before.

Enjoy the pain of each session and really embrace each and every set and that every curl, sit up or bench press you do will bring you one step closer to your goals.

Don’t just lift weights… Throw every last ounce of strength you have and lift like your life was on the line.

4. Zero Distractions

Avoid the common mistakes and temptations of destroying your well earned gains with partying and drinking. Your period of training and focus must stay aligned and going out to party only puts your body in a state of shock and helps completely throw you off the path.

Avoid negative people that are going to hold you back and surround yourself with people that are on the same path as you.

Taking your physique to that next level requires a certain level of sacrifice, which is why so many are unable to follow through.

Think about the look on your friends faces after six months and you appear with the body of a Greek God, it will all be worth it.

5. Eliminate Complacency

Complacency is the number one enemy of the bodybuilder. While you should reward yourself after leaving the gym each time, never settle and always set your sights on pushing harder and more intense in each and every session.

If you aren’t switching things up and pushing through plateaus, your body is only going to adjust and limit your gains.

6. No Pain, No Gain

For entry level bodybuilders, this is the hardest part. You probably remember the first few weeks when you started working out.

That back breaking feeling when DOMS had onset your body and you couldn’t move any muscle in your body.

Embrace pain in the gym. Swallow it up whole and spit it out.

When it comes to putting the body in all out shock, pain is a signal you are doing something right and the catalyst that is going to trigger explosive muscle growth.
